Brief:
Barburrito are the forerunners of the Mexican fast food market. They wanted a brand that looked established, familiar and had strong Mexican qualities without looking themed.
Solution:
The main logotype looked like it was burnt and branded in with a glow that gave atmosphere and a sizzle to the mark. The hand written tagline communicated exactly what the restaurant did in a style that was informal and personal just like the service. The distinctive, rugged-textured red background felt warm and grainy, which again helped communicate the Mexican roots and differentiate the brand from the standard glossy fast food chains.
