Brief:
Straight off the back of winning a Big Chip Award in 2009, call-tracking service provider AdInsight needed to improve their brand and improve it fast. As with most tech entrepreneurs it had a fantastic reputation in terms of technology and service but ascetically the brand looked second rate.
Two years later, AdInsight Clarity was created, offering businesses advanced online call-tracking facilities. A complex product to explain, AdInsight required a short animation to communicate the benefits of using AdInsight Clarity. The film must communicate the process simply and effectively, highlighting flaws in current systems and push the benefit of using this revolutionary call-tracking system.
Solution:
We developed a new logo (using a telephone and target icon) and split the trading name so that the origins of the word could be distinguished and recalled easily. We then chose a striking and contemporary colour scheme and introduced a tone of voice and graphic style which matched their company values perfectly. We also developed a bold photography direction that engaged with their target audience: informal but highly driven decision makers of digital and traditional marketing agencies.
They launched at a digital show in Manchester with resounding success. We created the exhibition boards, digital presentation and brochure. Both owners Rick and Ross have a new found confidence in the brand and look set to build a globally successful business.
The AdInsight Clarity film began by exploring graphic styles, developing a script, constructing storyboards and artworking illustrations. Once approved, the visuals were animated, background music sourced, and the perfect voice to accompany the visuals recorded. The animation took the viewer through a journey, asking them to question their current business, showing them the advantages of AdInsight Clarity and how it could help their business.
Of the current AdInsight customers, 68% have signed up to AdInsight Clarity since the launch. Within 8 months, AdInsight Clarity had received over 400 sign-ups, while in comparison, AdInights original ‘classic’ product only received 100 sign-ups within 2 years. Also the video page on the website drove 23% of clicks to 5 of the top 10 converting pages, which include more detailed information about the product.
