In 2005 entrepreneurs Paul and Morgan thought there was something missing in the UK.
Four simple words...
Fast. Fresh. Mexican. Food.
With some heavy competition in the fast food market, they needed
an image that instantly gave the impression of a global brand.
Inspired by the romance of Mexico, we proposed an identity consisting
of rough textures and deep, warm tones. This robust and imperfect style,
combined with rich graphics, introduced a sense of honesty and integrity to the brand.
Everything from interior signage to large format artwork, menus,
loyalty cards, POS (including LCD motion graphics) and press advertising
was produced by ahoy.
And it didn’t end there. We also produced all online marketing including
the Barburrito website, email marketing, and advising on SEM.
By 2008 Barburrito had 3 successful stores in the North West and had built
a brand that was strong enough to attract millions of pounds of investment.
Another 5 restaurants are planned over the next 2 years.
"Ahoy have helped develop the Barburrito branding from the initial concept,
through to having three stores. Barburrito is perceived as being a national brand,
and we hope to continue working with ahoy as the brand develops. Ahoy have
contributed greatly to the success of our business."
