New logo for communications company Aquanet

Earlier last week Deb Rimmer, director of Aquanet Communications approached us here at Bourn to design in new identity for the company.  The project included everything from logo design, to stationary sets and the design of a brand new website.

Deb dropped by the studio for a quick chat to discuss the specific requirements of the project.  And after establishing a firm understanding of the company’s services we made a list of competitors to help aid our research.

Deb was keen to create a logo which incorporated some form of symbol that could be used with or without the company’s name.  It was vital that the logo projected a sense of professionalism, positivity and aspiration, remaining clean and simple with a contemporary edge.

The final logo incorporates a simplistic and clean sans serif typeface, lifted with a contemporary gloss and added reflection.  The image of two crossing speech bubbles signifies communication and the exchange of information and their rounded corners and vibrant colours brings a sense of friendliness and approachable personality.
