Peter Blake designs Glastonbury T-shirts!

Peter Blake, the artist behind one of pop’s most memorable images, the cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band has been commissioned by the National Trust to design a T-shirt and "tattoo", which will be given out at this year's Glastonbury festival marking their first year at the festival. Inspired by the Somerset countryside and wildlife, and celebrating St Michael's tower on the historic Tor alongside the founders of the festival Michael and Emily Eavis, the posters take on a vintage transport quality. The butterfly “Tattoo” above with the body of St Michael's tower will be stamped on programmes, t-shirts and festival-goers throughout the weekend.
