Design Research Study Brings Conclusive Results
After hearing the millionth expensive study 'proving' facts like 'alcohol could be bad for your health', I thought it was about time we founded our own study to prove something that has never been proven before, putting our name on the design map.
To begin the study, I decided to put across the hypothesis, 'Well designed websites look better than poorly designed sites'. After conducting an independent survey with people looking at sites we have designed compared to some plain text pages, over 95% thought the designed site looked better. The other 5% possibly misunderstood the question, but it's a conclusive statistic.
